IBEW PER CAPITA DUES INCREASE FOR ALL MEMBERS
Per the 40th International Convention basic monthly dues have increased in the amount of $1.00 for ALL MEMBERS effective 7-1-2025. Please remember this when sending in payments to the hall.
ELECTIONS
The results are in for all positions and are posted at the hall. I would like to congratulate all those who ran, won or lost, your participation in this election was appreciated. There were many new faces running for office and the eagerness of newer members alongside older members to be involved in this local demonstrated my belief that we as a local will continue to thrive for many years to come.
IBEW ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP PICNIC
Our membership picnic is scheduled for September 20th at Hagan Community Park. Invites have been mailed and we will send an e-vite out closer to the date. Be sure you get your RSVP in before the deadline to be entered in the Member Only Raffle. If you find yourself able to help out, we are always looking for volunteers. NEW MEMBER ORIENTATION
Thank you to all those who attended our New Member Orientation this month. Your participation and interest in getting to know your union is greatly appreciated. If you happen to miss this event, we will have reminders sent out for the next class to be held in October. Please look out for your reschedule letter. We will send an email reminder a week prior as well.
EWMC RIB COOK OFF
The EWMC committee will be hosting their Annual Rib Cook Off on July 19th here at the hall. This event will be in conjunction with VOLT to host the UFC Fight Night. Please join us at 4:00 PM. They are planning a night of family fun, amazing raffles, all packed with great food.
