IBEW PER CAPITA DUES INCREASE FOR ALL MEMBERS
This is our last reminder that there will be an increase which was predetermined and approved at the 40th International Convention of $1.00 for ALL MEMBERS effective 7-1-2025. Please be sure that if you pay dues in advance or are on automatic deductions through your personal bank you make the adjustments for the increase.
ELECTIONS
I would like to take the time to thank our elected Judge and his appointed Tellers for taking time out of their busy schedule to tend to this year’s election. Jon Thompson, your hard work and dedication to ensuring this year’s election went smoothly all while working was much appreciated.
IBEW ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP PICNIC
Our membership picnic is scheduled for September 20th at Hagan Community Park. Invites are planned to be sent both email and mail in mid to late June. If you find yourself able to donate time the day of, we are always looking for volunteers. If you are interested in helping on the picnic committee contact Reyna at the hall via email reyna@ibewlocal340.org or cell 916-539-0412.
NEW MEMBER ORIENTATION
Our next class is currently scheduled for July 15th. We encourage you to bring your spouse or significant other as this is a great opportunity for any questions you may have regarding your union membership and understanding the local union.
RENEW BILLIARDS TOURNAMENT
The RENEW group will be holding their annual Billiards Tournament on June 28th at 2PM at the Diamond Billiards – 10303 Folsom Blvd, Rancho Cordova. It is a $30 buy in, you may call or text Taras 916-969-7952 for more details.
